I am presently heading the Information Technolgy and Knowledge Management Group of National Productivity Council(NPC), New Delhi in India with the designation of Director (IT).

I am a learner, practitioner, trainer and consultant towards implementation of Knowledge Management in various organisations.

I am a B.Tech graduate in Chemical Engineering with Post Graduation in Plant Engineering as my Academic Qualifications.

I have over 28 year of experience in the various aspects of Consultancy and Training projects. I have successfully undertaken and completed projects, consulting assignments and training and research activities in the areas of Plant Maintenance, Computerized Maintenance Management, Maintenance Technology, Disaster Management, Safety and Risk Assessment, Systems Improvement, Business Process Engineering, Knoweldge Management etc.

I have carried out more than 60 Consultancy Projects and over 250 Training Programs on Productivity, Technology and Systems related subjects to Industrial managers.

I had been Chief Coordinator of two International Conferences on "Knowledge Management" organised by NPC India in 2007 & 2008.I am also coordinating the establishment of a Knowledge Management Centre at NPC.

I am also the convenor member of the KM Standards expert panel formed by Bureau of Indian Standards.

I am a regular visiting faculty to Management Institutes and also had presented papers in many Conferences.

Presently I am in the APO expert group which is given the task of preparation of Training Manual on "Knowledge Management".

My interests are in learning and teaching about KM applications in diverse fields and sectors.
