KM 10 year Growth ANALYSIS & Prediction

Can anyone recommend one or more sources for documents/papers that:
a. Gives reliable, trustworthy and evidence-based Growth ANALYSIS of Knowledge Management over the past 8-10 years up to 2007.

b. Gives trustworthy prediction of KM growth for the next 3-5 years.

Key words are reliable, trustworthy, evidence-based.

Very necessary information when we consultants are trying to 'convince' those who are still in the dark that KM is here to stay (for our life time at least). For me it is tiresome to be still needing to do this, but it I suppose it is part of our evangelistic roles, to do our part for the turn-around of the world economic crisis that is ever looming.
