KM in three parallel steps

The Management of knowledge is divided into three parts:

A
KM is an organizational theory and practice of bringing in individual knowing and knowldege into a collective liability

B
KM provides means for more precise and pro-active usage of stored information and gate-keeping techniques inside intra/extra/internet

C
KM defines departmental-specific needs for jobs in terms of the team, the business objectives and future trends and it helps finding employees that can stimulate and inspire these teams.
